Mumbai is also likely to witness a fresh spell of heavy rainfall after a brief pause in monsoon activity. IMD has issued weather alerts for parts of Maharashtra, with thunderstorms, gusty winds and heavy showers expected to affect daily life.
Commuters have been advised to remain cautious, especially in flood-prone areas.
Bengaluru and several parts of Karnataka are forecast to receive widespread rainfall as monsoon conditions remain active across southern India. While light to moderate showers are expected in the city, isolated heavy rainfall is likely in parts of the state over the next few days.
